Jennifer L. Godar, Psy.D., HSPP is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychological services primarily for children, adolescents, and families throughout the community. Dr. Godar completed her Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis, obtaining specialized training in working with children, adolescents, and families in her doctoral program.
Prior to opening Premier Psychology of Indiana, LLC in 2019, she practiced at Community Psychological Consultants from 2010 to 2019. She has had previous experiences working within a community mental health center, an outpatient hospital facility, a geriatric facility, and a school setting. She is a member of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Godar has extensive experience in conducting psychological evaluations and providing psychotherapy (i.e., individual, family, and group) for children, adolescents, and families for a variety of concerns. Her therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy techniques, and a family systems perspective, depending on the patient's needs. Dr. Godar has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, depressive disorders, social problems, stress management, adjustment disorders, and learning difficulties.
